Alessia Mia Teresa Russo is a forward for Manchester United in the Women’s Super League and the England national team.
She has previously represented England in all age groups and has previously played for Chelsea, Brighton & Hove Albion, and North Carolina Tar Heels.
Russo has represented England at the under-15, under-17, under-19, under-20, and under-21 levels. She defeated Croatia 13-0 in October 2015 to earn a place in the 2016 UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship.
She defeated Estonia later that month, scoring three goals. At the 2016 UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship, Russo scored five goals, including a hat trick against Germany in England’s 4-3 semifinal loss. She tied for the qualifying lead in goals scored with nine.
