All the Things You Did Not Know About Tharita Cesaroni’s Bio and How She Met Dermot Mulroney
Before marrying Tharita, Dermot was first married to American actress Catherine Keener in 1990. Reports have it that the actor met his actress wife in 1986 while they were working on the movie, Survival Quest. The two later had a son named Clyde Mulroney, who was born on June 21, 1999. Clyde is now a singer by profession.
After about fifteen years together, the marriage between Dermot and Catherine began to crash. They separated in May 2005. Citing irreconcilable differences, Dermot filed for divorce in June 2007, and proceedings were finalized months later in December 2007.
It is said that Dermot never had it in his plans to marry again after his marriage to Catherine fell apart, at least not until he met Tharita Cesaroni. The pair are believed to have first met on the set of the 2007 comedy film, Dante’s Inferno. The film, which was based on an epic poem by the famous Italian poet, Dante Alighieri, was performed with hand-drawn paper puppets on a toy theatre stage and starred the voice of Dermot Mulroney as “Dante”. Tharita worked with Michael Negrin as a member of the film’s cinematography team. Soon, Tharita and Dermot began to talk to each other, and then from being just friends, they became romantic partners. The pair got married in the following year after he finalized his divorce. Their wedding ceremony was a private affair.
Following his decision to quickly move on from his ex-wife, many have speculated that Dermot’s new romance with Tharita may have played a role in his first marriage falling apart. However, it is not certain whether Tharita Cesaroni was involved with the actor during his marriage.
