Allison Gollust had an affair with former CNN Worldwide President Jeff Zucker.
The details of their consensual relationship became public in January 2022, following the media network’s investigation into Chris Cuomo, the brother of the 56th New York Governor Andrew Mark Cuomo.
Due to the revelation, Zucker resigned from his position on 2 February. He even confessed to not disclosing his relationship with Allison at the beginning. Many media sources label the disclosure as CNN’s worst-kept secret.
For the past few years, there have been many rumors on the affair of CNN’s two most senior executives, who decided to fire Chris.
Many sources claim that the two’s secret relationship began more than a decade ago when they lived in the same building in Manhattan with their ex-spouses. Further, the speculation suggests that it started when they used to work at NBC.
Likewise, they have worked together for two and a half decades.
Reportedly, Allison was formerly married to her husband, Billy Hunt. According to The Sun, her former partner is the president of Tradeweb, an international financial services company. She has two children, Olivia and Ava.
As for Zucker, his ex-wife was Caryn Stephanie Nathanson. Divorced in 2019, they share four children.
