Since he was a young boy, Ivchenko had a dream of becoming one of the best actors in the future. As Andrey’s desire to be an actor grew, he joined his high school theater programs and realized he was a natural at memorizing lines quickly as well as learned how to own the stage.
At the age of 18, Andrey joined the U.S.S.R. military as well as served for two years. After finishing his services in the military, Ivchenko attended college and got his Masters’s Degree in Kinesiology. While at college, all he could ever think of was having an acting career. Knowing his chances to succeed in film and television were very limited in his homeland, he decided to move to Europe for the next few years hoping to find bigger opportunities.
Not too long after, he relocated to Toronto, Canada, where he later became a citizen and signed up with a background agency. Almost immediately, Andrey signed with an agent as well as began landing acting/stunt roles on such known shows as: “Falling Skies,” “Nikita,” and “The Transporter” (the TV series).
