James, Max (born in 2014), and Alexi are the couple’s three children.
Postecoglou’s family came to Australia by boat in 1970 when he was five years old, where he was raised in Melbourne, Victoria.
Postecoglou’s Father, Dimitris, lost his business due to the 1967 Greek military coup.
Growing up, Angelos lived in Melbourne, Victoria. He has been a lifelong supporter of the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League and started playing Australian rules football early.
Postecoglou, who lost his Father in 2018, spoke in an interview about how his Father put in a lot of effort every day of his life: “Many claim they move to another country in pursuit of a better life.
Because their lives were not improved, my parents went to Australia to open up opportunities for me.”
