Are the Duffer Brothers Mormon? Family Religion on Stranger Things Producers

Matt and Ross Duffer, creators of the now-legendary series Stranger Things, have established themselves as brilliant writers in the entertainment industry, and the two are responsible for bringing the series to life onscreen.

After writing and directing many short films, Warner Bros. Pictures bought their script for the post-apocalyptic horror feature Hidden in 2011.

After that, the brothers went on to make the film Hidden, which came out in 2015. The Duffer brothers were then appointed as writers and producers for Fox’s Wayward Pines series.

With their television background, they began presenting their Stranger Things concept to Dan Cohen, who eventually brought it to Shawn Levy. The show was swiftly taken up by Netflix, thanks to Levy’s 21 Laps production business.
