They even decided to launch their podcast, The Handoff. However, everything fell apart when Cuomo was fired from CNN. It was because he was found to be assisting his brother, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, in his sexual harassment case.

He requests $125 million in compensation to cover his remaining contract salary and future wages. Cuomo stated that Lemon was never disciplined for warning Jussie Smollett about the police not believing him in his racist and homophobic attack.
