Brittany Tarwater (Journalist) Bio, Wiki, Age, Height, Salary, Parents and Maiden Name
She anchors the 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. newscasts Monday through Friday on WVLT NewsSports reporting was her first love but after giving it a thought she found it not to be in her heart. In 2011, she went back to school for a master’s degree in Journalism and Electronic Media at UT to focus on hard news.
Her first reporting job was at Local 8 channel, WYMT in Hazard, Ky. She started off her m as a morning co-anchor and dayside reporter. Though the town was small she covered some pretty big stories from tightening EPA coal regulations to a close 2014 Senate race to 14 inches of snow that fell in two days!
In April 2015 she made her way back to the Local 8 news team. It wasn’t long before Brittany made her way back to join the Local 8 News team in April 2015. She’s thrilled and humbled to be back on Rocky Top working with an amazing group of talented and experienced journalists who truly work to serve East Tennessee and the people like us, who call it home.
