He has been accused of sexual assault and abuse by as many as nine dancers including Gina Menichino and Sage Humphries. The initial complaint alleged that Mitchell manipulated and groomed them for sexual assault for several years, reports CNN.
Gina alleges that Mitchell sexually assaulted her when she was 13 and he was 25. She reported him in 2018, but the investigators did not have enough evidence to move forward with the case.
As per the allegations, Sage claimed that the couple sexually and verbally abused her when she was in an apprentice program with the Boston Ballet in 2016. The couple even isolated her from her family and forced Humphries to live with them.
Button is not yet arrested, and the charges have not been revealed. His mugshot is still not released by the police. People have been talking about Mitchell’s grooming and sexual assault allegations on Reddit.
