Danelo Cavalcante Wife: Why Did He Kill His Girlfriend Deborah Brandao?
According to the prosecution, Deborah Brando, Cavalcante’s ex-girlfriend, was outside her house on April 18, 2021, with her two kids.
The Chester County district attorney’s office stated in a Facebook post that Cavalcante arrived, seized her by her hair, “threw her to the ground, and stabbed her 38 times in virtually every vital organ… causing her to bleed to death.”
According to the district attorney’s office, Cavalcante fled as Brando’s 7- and 4-year-old kids raced to neighbors for assistance.
According to court documents, the 7-year-old girl informed police that Cavalcante threatened to murder her before he started stabbing Brando.
Prosecutors claimed that he was captured in Virginia a few hours later. According to District Attorney Deb Ryan, he was attempting to flee to Mexico with the idea of subsequently traveling to Brazil.
Danelo Cavalcante, who was just found guilty of fatally stabbing his lover, escaped from a prison in a suburb of Philadelphia on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
The sixth day of the manhunt for the fugitive murderer resulted in school closures and heightened tension in a Pennsylvania neighborhood.
On the day of the murder, Schuylkill Township police were called to the residence at around 4:17 p.m.
They discovered Brando on the ground “with multiple stab wounds to the chest,” according to the district attorney’s office.
While they waited for emergency medical assistance, a neighbor tried to save Brando’s life, but she was later declared dead at a hospital. She was 33 years old.
