Darts: How Much Is Luke Humphries Net Worth? Wife Nickname Cool Hand & Family
Luke Humphries is nicknamed “Cool Hand Luke”.
Following Gary Anderson’s departure from the 2019 Premier League, Humphries was named one of nine ‘contenders’ to take his position. On night four in Exeter, he played a one-off match against Gerwyn Price.
Humphries won the 2019 PDC World Youth Championship at the age of 24, defeating Adam Gawlas 6–0 to become the tournament’s oldest winner.
Luke was picked for the Premier League again in December, this time as a ‘challenger,’ following another run to the World Championship quarter-finals.
In Exeter, Luke defeated Gary Anderson, becoming the first challenger to do so.
Humphries reached his first major televised final in March 2021, at the 2021 UK Open.
In his path to the final, Luke defeated Dave Chisnall in the quarter-finals and then-reigning champion Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals. James Wade defeated Luke 11–5 in the final.
