Djimon Hounsou’s Girlfriend/Wife in 2023: Who Is He Dating? Learn About His Fiancé and Kids!
In March 2023, Djimon Hounsou recently revealed that he is expecting his third child with his girlfriend-turned-fiancé, Ri’Za. While he has yet to share more information about his partner, the 58-year-old recently revealed that they have already been engaged.
In The Kelly Clarkson Show, Kelly asked, “You and your girlfriend just announced that you’re having a baby, right?”, to which he replied, “Yes, thank you… Me and my fiancée.” The TV host got surprised and added, “Your fiancée! Oh, congratulations, I’m so sorry, I thought it was girlfriend. Next level!”
We are unaware of how the couple met or how long they have been dating. It seems Djimon wants to keep the detail about his girlfriend private. Additionally, he also has a son [his first child] named Kenzo from his relationship with his ex-partner, Kimora Lee Simmons. The couple was together from 2007 to 2012 even though they never got married.
Talking about his wife-to-be, Djimon Hounsou (@djimon_hounsou) revealed that he lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his girlfriend Ri’Za and their toddler son, Fela, in a recent interview with The Guardian. Before indicating that their second child is a boy, he told
We’re expecting another baby…I’m really excited about creating a foundation in which he can leverage himself growing up, it’s important.
Djimon believes that men are often more prepared for fatherhood when they are older, despite the fact that he is not looking forward to the loss of sleep that comes with having a child. He added,
For me, very much so. For men, in general, you need to at least need to be 35 or 40. We’re not really much of man until we have achieved some of the challenges that we face.
It seems Djimon Hounsou and his girlfriend/wife-to-be are all prepared to have a family and get married very soon. And from what we’ve seen, we’re pretty sure the Shazam star will become a great role model to his kids.
