Robert went to Stanton College Preparatory School. He later went to Morehouse College in Atlanta GA where he earned his B.S. in Biology. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in mentoring and research.
After his graduation, in his undergraduate studies, he went to the Medical Scientist Training Program at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. From there, he earned both his MD and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine.
