Easton Cowan Parents: Where Are They from? Family Ethnicity
Maple Leaf head scout Wes Clark described the 5’11” and 170-pound athlete as a high-energy player who performs with many edges and isn’t afraid to dig in the corners.
Clark targeted Easton Cowan for his competitiveness and hockey sense.
On the other hand, Easton also believes he became an attractive choice because of his hounding mentality. The Canadian ice hockey player takes great pride in his work ethic and leadership.
In an interview just after he was drafted, Easton said, “Kind of at a loss for words right now.”
“I represented my hometown there in London. Therefore, it’s quite wonderful to be selected by another hometown team.
And it’s a time I’ll always remember. Celebrating with my family and friends makes me very happy,” added the skilled athlete.
The 18-year-old strives to play like Nazem Kadri and James van Riemsdyk, whose net-front play Cowan admires and looks up to Knights legend Marner.
