Eli Erlick Gender and Sexuality: Is She a Transgender?
Erlick mentions beginning her activism at 15 in 2010, when she joined the board of a nearby LGBTQ youth conference.
More than a year later, when she supported California’s School Success and Opportunity Act, the first state law to protect transgender children, she made her media debut.
She talked in favor of transgender students being admitted to women’s universities while stressing the value of maintaining skepticism in all policy-related endeavors.
Erlick wrote an article in 2015 explaining why the transgender movement shouldn’t aim for equality.
Erlick has received praise for her organization from outlets, including The Advocate and Refinery29.
