Belonging from a highly dysfunctional family, where his father was incarcerated and his mother was unable to take care of her children due to drug addiction, the mixed martial artist was sent to foster care since he was just 5 years old.
Born September 9, 1986, in San Bernardino, California, he estimates he lived in 50 different houses until he was in his early 20s. His childhood and adolescence were filled with negative influences – guns, drugs, gangs etc.
He lost his only sibling, younger brother, 23-year-old Mitchell Davis Jr, who was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on May 31, 2014. All these traumas caused him a lot of pain and struggle, and he will do everything in his power to prevent his children to go through similar events.
