Hawkeye: Is Hailee Steinfeld Is Jewish? Parents Pete and Cheri Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld does not identify as Jewish.
Because Steinfeld’s mother is not Jewish, and one’s religion is based on one’s mother’s religion in Judaism, she is not Jewish as well.
Her father is a devout Jew; hence she is considered half-Jewish in some circles.
Her mother is a devout Christian and Ricardo Domasin, her maternal grandpa, was also half Filipino and half African-American ancestry.
Steinfeld began acting at the age of ten and has since acted in several short films, including the award-winning. She’s a Fox, in which she played Talia Alden.
When Steinfeld was 13, she was cast in the role of Mattie Ross in True Grit.
