Jerry Tarkanian and Vic Weiss Mafia Connection and Cold Murder Case, What Happened?
Jerry Tarkanian and the mob Vic Weiss murder case seems to be unsolved as there are assumptions that he might be killed by one of the mob for him trying to make deal with the Lakers on behalf of his friend.
Vic was violently murdered in 1979, just after he took a meeting with Jerry Buss to close the deal for his friend Jerry Tarkanian. The deal would have made the coach of the University of Nevada leave UNLV and join the Los Angeles Lakers.
But his murder just canceled the deal with Tarkanian, and he was not able to be the coach of the Lakers. The murder case is suspected to be a mob hit and the recent episode of the Wining Time implies that it was done to Keep Jerry at UNLV.
