Indycar: Who Is David Malukas? Young Lithuanian-American Racing Driver Details to Know
David Malukas was born in Chicago, Illinois, to parents Henry and Davia Malukas.
This explains why he competes under both the American and Lithuanian flags.
David is a first-generation American, but his parents are Lithuanians who fled the nation when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991.
Henry and Daiva Malukas regarded the United States as a chance to live a better life and provide better prospects for their children than they had growing up under Communist control.
