According to The Sasquatch Times, the officers stormed Jones’s home on July 6 after gathering data on him for his shady companies for more than a year. He was detained earlier today on suspicion of money laundering.
The federal authorities discovered that he was not operating a legitimate firm. Instead, he is accused of founding these businesses to hide his money so he can buy and sell beanies on the black market.
Thousands of beanie babies that were bought illegally were discovered at Jones’ home during a federal search, including four of the extremely rare Valentino Bears.
