Jonathan Osteen was born to Joel Osteen and Victoria Iloff on April 20, 1995 in Houston, Texas. This is where he spent his childhood with his younger sister, Alexandra, born three years after him in 1998.

However, what he studied is not known to the general public. However, a photo he posted on photo-sharing app, Instagram, which was celebrating his graduation, was criticized by church members and the general public.
The photo features Jonathan with his parents and sister, making the “Hook Em” sign; this sign is said to resemble the horns of the devil and as a well-known religious family that makes it is seen as inappropriate by many. The family did the “Hook Em” sign because it was the sign made by the University’s mascot and it was just their way of declaring their love for the university. However, the reaction was so strong that the photo was taken afterwards.
