Minneapolis: Who Are Andre Locke and Karen Wells? Meet Amir Locke Parents
During a no-knock raid on Wednesday, Amir Locke, a Black man, was shot to death by the Minneapolis police in the early morning.
When the police department’s SWAT group conducted a no-knock warrant raid for the St. Paul police department crime unit, Locke was clearly sleeping in a loft in downtown Minneapolis.
Reportedly, the police entered the flat at around 6:48 a.m. yelling “Police!” and “Get on the ground.”
Body-worn camera footage discharged on Thursday where Locke appeared to be wrapped in a white cover as police focalized his position on a sofa. At that time, Locke got up and showed up to be shot numerous times.
