Lisa LaFlamme recently underwent abdominal surgery. So, she is on leave as of now.
However, some of the people on the internet claim that the TV presenter is leaving CTV. Henceforth, CTV National News tweeted that Lisa is on medical leave recovering from a non-COVID-related illness and will return back to work soon after her recovery.
Ms. LaFlamme was tested positive for COVID-19 back in September 2021. She stayed away from the newsroom for a while and covered stories from her home.
Being a host for the CTV National News, Lisa had to report much news regarding cancer patients. One of them includes her friend Alex Trebek who passed away in 2020 due to pancreatic cancer. Moreover, she remembered Alex as her very close friend and a special person in her life.
