Manga Artist Keisuke Itagaki Death Hoax Debunked -What Happened to Him?
Tokyo Dome hosted an underground fighting arena on its sixth basement level in Keisuke Itagaki’s long-running manga Baki.
However, on March 19, 2022, Baki Creator threw out the first pitch at Tokyo Dome, which featured a baseball game rather than the underground death fight depicted in his manga Grappler Baki.
The manga artist was dressed in a Giant’s jersey and was greeted warmly by the audience. When the collaboration began earlier that month, he began practicing his pitching form. The practice paid off as the pitch landed directly on the mitt with no bounces, and the crowd erupted.
When his manga was released in 1991, he achieved success at a young age. The manga is still being written, and Keisuke is the author. The manga is published in Weekly Shonen Champion, a magazine that hosts many well-known mangas.
Keisuke has fans worldwide, including Sylvester Stallone, the Hollywood macho. Keisuke met Stallone in 2010 and tweeted about it on his Twitter account, mentioning how much he admires his art.
His daughter, Paru Itagaki, is also a manga artist, so drawing skills run in the family. She created Beastars. Beastars’ story is set in a modern world of civilized, anthropomorphic animals, with a schism between carnivores and herbivores.
The mangaka is occasionally seen at fan meetups, signs autographs, and talks about his internationally acclaimed manga series, Grappler Baki.
