Meteorologist Andy Avalos Announces Retirement from Nbc 5: Meet His Wife and Family
Andy Avalos took a couple of years off NBC 5 to run his restaurant, Pancake Cafe.
The Chicago weatherman opened the cafe in 2000 and became a quick hit among local citizens. However, he sold the cafe to Paul Chialdikas, a trustee for the Village of Lemont, five years later.
Chialdikas named the restaurant PC’s Pancake Cafe. He ran the restaurant for several years until it closed in 2013, as per Chicago Tribune.
