Nayib Estefan Wife Lara Coppola Likes to Keep Herself Away from the Glitz and Glam
Long-time couple Nayib and Lara welcomed their first child, son Sasha Argento Estefan Coppola, on June 12, 2012. Sasha Argento Estefan Coppola is 10 years old.
Like Gloria and Emilion, their son, Nayib, also had a child, Sasha (the only child) right around their second anniversary. Talking to People en Espanol, the singer said, “Seeing my kids happy with what they doing is the biggest gift I could receive.”
Gloria was the one who shared the news of her grandson’s arrival with fans at first. She wrote on Twitter, “My Heart was already full and now it runs over! There’s a new man in my life, our first grandson was born at 8:04! I’m in love!”
The Estefan family celebrated Sasha’s 10th birthday this year. The little kid has always been in the limelight from the start because of his family’s background. His grandparents are nonother than Gloria and Emilio. Consider his aunt, Emily Estefan, a renowned singer.

Sasha’s grandfather, Emilio, is a Cuban-American producer and musician. He has amassed 19 Grammy Awards for his remarkable work in the music industry. He first rose to prominence as a member of the Miami Sound Machine.
He is credited with guiding the way for the crossover explosion of the late 90s Latin music, mostly through artists that he himself brought to the forefront of the music stage, including Gloria, as well as Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony, and Shakira.
In 20015, he received the BMI “Songwriter of the Year” award and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Moreover, the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame honored him with the Sammy Cahn Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
