Renee Sloan – Bio, Facts About Wife of the Stunts and Wife of Scott Baio
Prior to Renee Sloan’s marriage to Scott, the duo were known to have been lifelong friends. They married on September 14, 2007 after three years of official dating and have been together ever since. Their marriage made them the parents of two daughters; the first Kalyn was born in 1989 (from a previous relationship) while the second named Bailey DeLuca Baio was born on November 2, 2007.
It wasn’t always all laughter and sadness with the Baios. Renee lost a 17 week twin pregnancy in the past. Her second daughter was misdiagnosed with a rare metabolic disorder medically known as glutaric acidemia type 1 after birth. Following this, the couple established the Bailey Baio Angel Foundation to raise awareness about the condition. Nevertheless, their daughter is growing up happily as she has never really suffered from the disease. The foundation, however, still exists.
In June 2015 Renee Sloan was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor, in October 2017 she was reported to have microvascular brain disease while in March 2018 her health news reported her that she now had two meningioma brain tumors. Despite all of these challenges, Renee, with the help of her family and the support of her teeming fans, managed to overcome it all.
