Tiktok: Trent Simonian Sidetalk Age, Birthday, and Girlfriend Name
Trent Simonian, a Malibu High School graduate, and Jack Byrne, a Xavier High School graduate, launched the Sidetalk in the autumn of 2019 during their first semester at New York University.
They met through common acquaintances after getting admitted into NYU during their senior year of high school.
Trent is no stranger to the man-on-the-street format, having hosted a show with a similar concept for the Malibu High School broadcasting program called Shark TV in his home state of California.
He’d show off his knack for content and promotion by uploading the videos on Youtube.
Simonian knew he was headed to New York before the end of his senior year and wanted to take his Shark TV experience to the next level: the streets of New York.
Once he found they were both Early Decision accepts to NYU, he connected with Byrne, a Long Island native whose own creative content he liked.
The two methodically planned their concept for a man-on-the-street online program that would incorporate professional production and a necessary refreshing to the platform, similar to “Billy on the Street with Billy Eichner.”
In April 2021, the team signed with Brillstein Entertainment Partners and WME.
The talk show was nominated for a Streamy Award in the Indie Show category in 2021.
