Following a request for a welfare check, Kelli Underwood, 46, was last discovered on Wednesday. Police initially believed Kelly committed suicide, but a postmortem proved otherwise.

Kelly relocated to a new residence in Princeton in the spring of 2017. On September 20, her girlchild Kayden Graham went to check on her after failing to reach her for several days.

Underwood was discovered on the floor laying unconscious in an upstairs room. Later, an autopsy determined that she had been stabbed and shot numerous times.

Authorities combed the crime site and gathered cigarette butts, silverware, a camera monitor, and five.22-caliber shell casings, among other items, in the backyard.

Furthermore, they took DNA swabs from Underwood’s fingernails. On September 16, her neighbors confirmed witnessing two men at her home who were working for her.

Family members described Kelly as a capable, single mother of three who worked diligently and lived alone in a Princeton home. Kelli also worked for a nearby sheet metal fabrication business.

Ginger Ambrose, Kelli’s sister, remarked that Kelli “wasn’t the type of person who was afraid of much.” Another sister Amber Parker mentioned “I want Kelli to receive justice. She is due for that.

She wasn’t entitled to what she received. Kelli was incredibly resilient and had a big heart. Kelli had a deep affection for her family.”
