Dre was married to his wife, Nicole Young, of 24 years but their relationship came to an end after Nicole filed for divorce in June 2020, citing irreconcilable differences.
However, their ongoing divorce was fueled by disputes regarding divorce settlements which are still not settled yet.
During the ongoing process, Dre filed a document requesting to get a single status after he assured that there was no returning.
He also stated the allegations regarding domestic violence made on him to be false.
Nicole, in a court filing, claimed to be the victim of physical abuse.
According to her, Dre held a gun on her in the early 2000s and was punched in the face in 1999.
At Dre’s request, the court concluded restoring them to the status of single persons terminating marital partnership status.
The couple shares two children, a son, named Truice and a daughter, Truly.
