More than three decades have gone by since a Colorado baby was kidnapped from his crib, yet the case remains unsolved.
Three guys came forward in 2018, each believing that they were Christopher.
However, DNA testing in February 2019 revealed that none of them were him.
The original suspects were Gil and Bernice. Prior to Cristopher’s abduction, they were having marital issues.
They had previously split up but were now reuniting. On the same night when Gil arrived at the family home, Cristopher was kidnapped.
Bernice was found guilty after failing two polygraph tests. They have, nevertheless, maintained their innocence.
Christopher’s family believes his kidnapper was a lady who had a relationship with Gil.
She has a history of break-ins, according to reports. However, she has not been designated a suspect by the police.
The lost child’s father died in the year 2020, and there are still no answers as to what happened to Christopher Abeyta.
Cristopher’s mother Bernice, also died in 2017 from cancer.
