Carley Shimkus is happily married to her husband Peter Buchignani. Peter is a businessman. Following his graduation from Princeton University in 2009, he began working at several financial houses including Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank.
The couple reportedly met in 2013. After dating for two years they exchanged their vows on August 8, 2015, at Fiddlers Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Despite living in different cities; Buchignani in Chicago and Shimkus in New York City, the couple has been able to keep their romance alive. The couple seems to share a common interest- traveling. The pair visited Scotland in August of 2017 and then traveled around Greece in 2016.
Further, it is not known whether they have any children or not.
