Who Are Kamaru Usman Parents? Their Nationality -Everything to Know
Kamaru Usman’s father was jailed for almost 7 years which made it very hard for Usman.
Usman moved to the United States with his parents when he was eight years old, and his father, Muhammad Usman, pursued a career in pharmaceuticals.
Unfortunately, he was arrested, imprisoned for 180 months, and charged with $1.3 million in restitution.
This occurred in 2010, and his father served his sentence and was released in February 2021.
The reason for the arrest was not specified, but it seems that it was because of misunderstanding and ignorance by the US court of justice.
All these statements are according to Usman. He even said that he has always blamed the US court for not carrying out the investigation.
But for now, Usman’s father has been released and can meet his family and watch his son’s matches by his side.
