Who Are Susan Lucci Children? Liza & Andreas Huber Update as Their Father Passed Away
Helmut Huber, Susan Lucci’s husband, died at 84.
The Austrian-born television producer and manager passed suddenly on Long Island, New York. Lucci’s publicist and the family’s agent both verified his death.
On October 10, 1937, Huber was born in Innsbruck, Austria, and became a US citizen in 1994. He met Lucci in 1969 while working at the Garden City Hotel on Long Island.
He was the hotel’s executive chef, and Lucci had interned there during his undergraduate summer break. On September 13, 1969, the pair married after only three weeks of dating.
After his first marriage ended in divorce, he met and married Lucci.
Huber’s wife of 52 years, two sons, two daughters, a brother, eight granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren survive him. Instead of flowers, the family begs that donations be made to the American Stroke Association to fund stroke awareness and research.
