The news Nike commercial of Spike Lee with a girl named Indigo Hubbard-Salk has caught viewers’ attention. The brand created the commercial to commemorate its 50th anniversary.
In the four-minute video, two generations can be seen battling out about every icon from the last 50 years. First, the pair can be seen sitting in a park while playing chess. Then, Lee starts remembering all the amazing sporting moments he has seen over the years. He thinks about Tiger Woods winning championships to Kobe Bryant scoring for the Los Angeles Lakers.
On the other hand, the actress reminds him of all the incredible athletes that have emerged after that. She names basketball players Ja Morant and tennis player Naomi Osaka as examples.
The actress tells him that she knows that he thinks he has seen everything, but he has not seen anything yet. And, with a Checkmate at the end, Nike strapline flashes across the screen.
