Zach Thomas Wife Maritza Thomas Is Mother of Their Three Children
Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas are still friends.
The two former players of the Miami Dolphins achieved individual success at Dolphins, and the two were silver linings in the Dolphins’ side that were struggling after the loss of their coaches Marino/ Shula.
Many people have guessed that Jason and Zach might not have been on the best of terms since 2006, as Jason had filed for divorce from Zach’s sister, Katina Thomas that year.
But the two-star Miami Dolphins players didn’t allow their personal life problems to turn into a professional mess. Jason and Katina shared three children before getting divorced.
In August 2006, Taylor gave an exclusive interview with ESPN and said, “As far as the question about the locker room, to be quite frank, I think it’s ridiculous to me that anyone would even think that. We’re professionals, guys.”
In 2020, Jason Taylor said in an interview that he wished to see his former teammate join him as the Hall of Fame inductee and had once said, “If it wasn’t for Zach Thomas, I wouldn’t be in the Hall of Fame.”
But Zach Thomas is yet to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, with many players in recent years have made a case for Zach to be honored. In 2012, both players were inducted into the Dolphin Honor Roll.
