What Is Take a Look at My Girlfriend Song on Tiktok? Lyrics Meaning and Original Song

Take A Look At My Girlfriend is originally sung by Gym Class Heroes on their album Cupid’s Chokehold / Breakfast in America. WMG released the song on their label.

The song was released in 2006 and you can find the song on Youtube on the channel Fueled By Ramen.

You will find the official video of the song far more amusing. According to the drummer Matt McGinley, the fact that that song existed at all was a bit of a fluke. They wrote it one afternoon in their old bass player’s bedroom, and it was completely unintentional.

They were only going to rehearse their performance when the song just sort of popped into his head. He stated, our friend Sie One owned a copy of Supertramp’s Breakfast in America.

So he’d put that on and say, “Take a look at my girlfriend, she’s the only one I’ve got. They then wrote their own verses, bridges and whenever the chorus came around, they just dropped that.

So that song came together in an instant. Then we went ahead and recorded it for under $300 in about 3 or 4 hours.
